What is Send & Scout Society?
Send & Scout is a monthly adventure delivered by mail.
Each envelope includes a themed set of puzzles, codes, and challenges designed for kids to solve, explore, and complete on their own (or with friends).
Think of it like a mini escape room… sent to your mailbox.
What do I actually get each month?
Each delivery includes:
- A story-driven mission or challenge
- Multiple puzzles (codes, ciphers, logic, etc.)
- A final “solve” moment that ties everything together
- A returnable postcard to submit their answer
Every month is a new theme and a new adventure.
What age is this for?
Send & Scout is designed for ages 7+.
Older kids will be able to solve many of the puzzles independently, while younger kids will need more assistance.
If your family enjoys puzzles, riddles, or mystery books, solving it together is the most fun.
Is this educational, or just for fun?
Both.
Kids are learning without realizing it. Each kit introduces skills like:
- Problem solving
- Pattern recognition
- Critical thinking
- Basic cryptography (codes and ciphers)
But it never feels like school. It feels like a challenge.
How long does each kit take?
Most kits will take at least 60 minutes to complete.
Some will finish it in one sitting. Others will stretch it out over a few days.
What happens if I solve it?
You can mail back your answer using the included postcard.
If you’re correct, you’ll receive a collectible reward in the mail.
It gives them a real reason to finish—and something to look forward to next.
What if I get stuck?
Getting a little stuck is part of the fun, but we will post occasional hints on social media (@sendandscout on Instagram and TikTok).
If those hints aren't enough, please reach out to us and we'll be happy to provide additional hints or assistance.
How does the subscription work?
When you start a subscription, you will receive a new puzzle each month (starting with Season 1, Puzzle 1).
You'll be billed monthly and can skip or cancel anytime from the Account page.
When will the kits ship?
Kits ship once per month.
You’ll receive your first delivery shortly after signing up, and subsequent puzzle kits will ship around that same time each month.
Is this screen-free?
Yes, there are no apps or logins required.
While some puzzles may require some searching, we encourage using your local library instead of using AI or search engines (but how you solve the puzzle is your business).
